The Swedish king
On the 1 November 2006 the prototype Stormfågeln was shown for the Swedish king in the company facilities in Fisksätra. The bad weather and the delay of vital parts forced the test drive to be rescheduled. The Swedish king showed a large interest in the boat as well as showing much knowledge of boats.
The Swedish king in front of the boat, standing on his right side is Magnus Ullman, chairman of the board, and standing on his left side is Torbjörn Eriksson, the inventor. Per-Eric Olofsson, a member of the board, is standing farthest to the left.
The Swedish king is standing on the deck of Stormfågeln, looking in to the cockpit.

Launching 13th October 2006
Yesterday in the presence of over 200 people, most of them stockholders, suppliers and sponsors, the prototype Stormfågeln was launched into the sea and named by the inventor Torbjörn Eriksson. There were a lot of people from the press there to cover the event. Speeches were made by the chairman of the board Magnus Ullman and by Dominque Taffin, an Italian license owner.
Tests at sea will now commence.
