Stormfågeln is working with future solutions for environmentally sensitive and fuel-efficient boat traffic. Work until now has focussed on surface-piercing propellor technology, for which two patent applications have been filed, and a specially designed hull that allows the attainment of high speed without large wave creation and with low fuel consumption.

 

Extensive tests of Stormfågeln’s prototype boat, the Fulmar, have shown that the concept can give major environmental benefits within a range of sectors of the boating industry.

Stormfågeln AB, therefore, is now ready to enter its commercialisation phase.
