STORMFÅGELN PROTOTYPE

 

Stormfågeln’s prototype boat – known as Stormfågeln – is based on a patented hull design with two surface-piercing propellers and three points of contact. Applications for a further two patents have been submitted, and these will be published in December 2008 and March 2009.

 

Stormfågeln has developed surface-piercing propeller technology. The concepts on which the boat is based are low water resistance, low wave formation, low fuel consumption and low emissions. The concepts include also the prospect of high speeds.
